(More customer reviews)This item is great if you have lots of birds to feed, and using several bottles at a time assures that there will be a reliable supply of seed. The seeds (I use black oil Sunflower) do have a tendency to clog at the bottle neck though, so I put out more than one always.

(More customer reviews)This feeder is more attractive than average with its glass pineapple shape which reminds of Victorian era decor. Keeps the big, pesky birds like Jays away because the base is too small for them to land on. Medium size Spotted Towhees can use this feeder as well. Drain holes in base but mine is under a sheltering roof eave on a pole. Hanger and metal top work well. It is glass so probably would not be good over cement in case you dropped it when removing for refills!

The good news: Yes, It is aromatic cedar wood.
The bad news: It's assembled in China with staples which tend to split the wood. The floor is of 1/8" lauan plywood material (a little stronger than paste board). The dimensions are totally wrong and misleading. The actual size of the bird house is 6.5" tall x 6.75" wide x 7.5" deep (that's measuring the roof, the actual house is 4.75" x 5.75")
Shipping: It is shipped with very little packing. Mine arrived with the top cracked down the middle from being crushed.

I bought this feeder for Woodpeckers but have been very surprised that many birds seem to like using it. We have nuthatches, chickadees, a variety of woodpeckers, spotted towhees and others flocking to the feeder - that gets filled sometimes twice a day now! I recommend this feeder for any avid bird watcher!

Arundale 152 Mandarin Wild Bird Feeder with Seed Dividers Review

(More customer reviews)1) This is really squirrel-proof when properly installed from a suspended wire. One of the only feeders that truly is! (NOT when put on a post). The squirrels slide off every time.
2) The plastic is "recycled" Plexiglas. I'm all for recycling, but here this product will be exposed to years of ultraviolet light; recycled plastic will not be as degradation-resistant as virgin plastic unless they add back the UV stabilizers to the polymer mix (which I doubt). My last one, several years old, cracked spontaneously one day and shattered when it fell on the patio, apparently due to degradation of the plastic.
3) You can buy spare parts at very fair prices from the manufacturer, so consider buying just the replacement parts you need. (I forgot, and bought a whole new one).
4) The one with "dividers" is best: Arundale 152 Mandarin Wild Bird Feeder with Seed Dividers. The model with a tray at the bottom may be less squirrel-proof depending on your installation.

Fliteline Junior 30 oz. Oriole Feeder Review

(More customer reviews)I've tried several oriole feeders and this one is the best I've had. I have to super glue the ports on, because woodpeckers like to peck them off so they can get to the food. Also bees will get into the feeder, but they will get into every feeder, can't really keep them out of the feeders. We get Orioles here in Phoenix every year, and they seem to bring their babies back with them. Good Feeder over all.

(More customer reviews)This is the second one I've purchased, due to the overflow of birds on the first one! The chains are "cheap" and the feeder hangs a bit crooked, but the birds don't care! They won't eat from my "tube" style feeders, but this hanging tray feeder is never "birdless" until it is empty! It's great for birders and people who care about wildlife but are on a budget, as it attracts birds without investing in fancy, expensive feeders.

Droll Yankees PWRSTK Power Stick for Yankee Series Feeders Review

(More customer reviews)this power stick does not fit the charger that came with Flipper purchased 6 years ago (the pin that attaches to the charger is the wrong size). I called Droll Yankee customer service, was told that the "pin size" on the power stick had been changed and that I needed a new charger. They said that when they sell the power stick, they sell the new charger along with it.
March 21, 1020, amendment to review: I called Droll Yankee customer service again; they sent a correct charger to me at no charge. Now a 5 star item.

Droll Yankees DCH Adjustable Deck Clamp & 16-Inch Hanger Arm Review

(More customer reviews)For a bird feeder and over a 3.75 in deck railing that you don't want to screw into, this is the only product I have found that can do the job. There are some downsides (reason for the 3 *s:
- More expensive than most other deck clamps available.
- Don't hope to put anything other than a bird feeder on it. Plants are just too heavy for the clamp. It might help to use the optional screw to secure the pole, but if I wanted to screw something into my deck, I wouldn't have bought a clamp!
- Hook section attaches onto straight pole and can turn in a strong wind.
I don't know if I can recommend this product, but if you have no other options (like me), it might be your best bet.

Best-1 Replacement Feeder Bottom Review

(More customer reviews)I've had many Hummingbird Feeders and this is truly the best. It does not drip like many of the tube type so it does not attract as many unwanted ants and stinging winged things. It's easy to fill and clean and it's so sturdy that mine has lasted years, if a racoon had not decided to take a drink out of it I wouldn't have needed to order the replacement bottom.
